Fulwider Patton LLP Attorneys Selected As 2009 Southern California Super Lawyers®

Craig B. Bailey focuses on intellectual property litigation and procurement. He has served as lead trial counsel in multi-million-dollar litigations and in precedent-setting cases for major corporations. He also assists clients in developing worldwide intellectual property portfolios and is involved in licensing and transactional work.

John K. Fitzgerald, with degrees in physics and business, prosecutes and litigates patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret issues and assists clients in developing and protecting worldwide intellectual property portfolios in the mechanical, analytical, biomedical, optical, e-commerce, computer, network, software and material technologies.

Scott R. Hansen, is an engineering and political science alumnus of UC San Diego, and graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington. He is a co-author of the 1997 treatise, California Causes of Action, writing several chapters on intellectual property subjects such as trade secret, unfair competition, false advertising and state trademark law. He also is a past Editor-in-Chief of New Matter, the journal of the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of California.

James Juo is a former patent examiner and has a degree in electrical engineering. He has successfully obtained, licensed and litigated patents at the trial and appellate level, including several Federal Circuit appeals. He has worked on a wide range of matters including medical devices, computer-related technologies and electronics.

James W. Paul specializes in the protection and litigation of intellectual property rights for companies in the aerospace, medical device, computer and other high tech fields. His extensive experience in the aerospace industry as an engineer, manager and in-house counsel, has also provided him with particularly valuable insights into the counseling of executives regarding their intellectual property.
