LOS ANGELES (Jan. 7, 2013) – Fulwider Patton LLP is pleased to announce that Eric J. Kim has joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Kim focuses his practice primarily on patent matters, including both patent prosecution and patent litigation. Mr. Kim has patent experience in a range of electrical and computer engineering technologies including communications, electronic design automation, semiconductor chip fabrication, and e-commerce.
Prior to joining Fulwider Patton, Mr. Kim worked in the commercial legal department of a large well known technology company where he negotiated, edited, and drafted incoming service agreements. Mr. Kim also interned for the Honorable William Alsup where he drafted the Judge’s orders for pretrial motions.
Mr. Kim earned his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law where he was a Production Editor for the Santa Clara High Tech Law Journal. He earned both his Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in photonics and digital signal processing.
